White House Admits Altering Biden Testimony Transcript to Special Counsel Hur, Claims Presidential Immunity
Jun 1, 2024, 03:45 PM
The White House has admitted in federal court that it altered the transcript of President Joe Biden's testimony to Special Counsel Robert Hur. This admission came after a court filing in a Federal FOA lawsuit by Judicial Watch and pressure from GOP Oversight. The alteration was reportedly made to make Biden appear less incompetent. The Biden administration is now claiming Presidential immunity and refusing to release the tapes of the 5-hour interview. The official transcript does not match the audio tapes, raising further concerns.
