China Successfully Tests YF-75E Engine for Long March 10 Manned Carrier Rocket
Jul 23, 2024, 10:00 AM
China has successfully completed a long-duration high-altitude simulation test for the liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen engine of its new-generation manned carrier rocket. The engine, known as YF-75E, was tested at a newly built high-altitude stand for the first time. This milestone, achieved on Saturday, is expected to significantly advance China's manned lunar exploration development. The test was conducted by the China Academy of Space Technology (CASC) and the Academy of Aerospace Propulsion Technology. The engine is intended for the third stage of the Long March 10 moon rocket.
