The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of heavy-duty tank trailers and related equipment to Israel. The deal, valued at $164.6 million, will see the sale of DRS M1000 Heavy Equipment Transporter Systems and associated equipment. The prime contractor for the sale will be Leonardo DRS, with deliveries estimated to be completed by 2027. The Pentagon confirmed the approval of the sale, which is part of a Foreign Military Sale program.
