Turkey has unveiled its first ramjet-powered air-to-air missile, named GÖKHAN. The development project for the GÖKHAN missile was initiated through a contract signed on May 21, 2021, between the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) and TÜBİTAK SAGE. The project aims to establish air superiority, protect high-value aerial assets, and enhance attack capabilities. The conceptual and preliminary design phases have been completed, and the project has now entered the ground testing phase, marking a significant advancement in Turkey's defense technology.
