Aug 29, 2024, 10:50 AM
The Netherlands has announced that it will not impose any restrictions on Ukraine's use of Dutch F-16 fighter jets, including their deployment over Russian territory. This decision was confirmed by Onno Eichelsheim, the Commander of the Dutch Armed Forces, who emphasized that the use of these jets must comply with the laws of war. The Netherlands is providing Ukraine with 24 F-16 jets, and this move has been partly supported by American military counterparts. The Dutch defense minister also advised against targeting civilian areas in Russia. Eichelsheim praised the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region, calling the operation 'brilliant.'
