The Dáil has heard calls for an amnesty and extension ahead of the planned ban of XL Bully dogs. The number of these dogs abandoned has increased by 700% and intentional harm has more than doubled since the government announced the ban. The decapitated head of an XL Bully was found in a shallow grave. A court has ruled that 17 suspected XL Bully dogs be spared.
