A new study has confirmed the existence of a cave on the moon, which could serve as a shelter for future explorers. The cave, identified as an old lava tube, is located in the Mare Tranquillitatis Pit, not far from where Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed 55 years ago.
