Five Children Rescued After 7-Hour Operation on Hill Near Mumbra Khadi Machine Dam in Thane

Five children were rescued after getting stuck while catching crabs on a hill near the Mumbra Khadi Machine Dam in Thane, Maharashtra. The incident occurred when the children lost their way during an unescorted trek. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the fire brigade team were alerted and launched a rescue operation. Fire Officer Ganesh Kedare reported that the team received a call yesterday around 8:30 pm and immediately responded. After continuous efforts for 7 to 8 hours, involving a team of 25 personnel from NDRF and TDRF, all five children were safely rescued and tracked and reunited with their parents.
