IDF Reveals $500 Million Hezbollah Bunker Under Evacuated Beirut Hospital
Oct 21, 2024, 06:41 PM
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have revealed that a bunker belonging to Hezbollah, containing $500 million in cash and gold, is located beneath the Al-Sahel Hospital in Beirut. The IDF released a 3D illustration showing the bunker, which serves as Hezbollah's central financial facility. Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that the bunker is used by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Despite the allegations, the IDF has clarified that it will not strike the hospital. The hospital's director, Fadi Alameh, who is also an Amal Movement lawmaker, denied the claims and invited the Lebanese Army to inspect the site. In response to the IDF's announcement, the hospital has begun evacuating patients and staff as a precautionary measure, according to Reuters.
