Iran's IRGC Bans Communication Devices After Deadly Hezbollah Attacks by Israel
Sep 23, 2024, 06:29 AM
Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has ordered all members to stop using any type of communication devices after thousands of pagers and walkie-talkies used by its Hezbollah allies in Lebanon blew up in deadly attacks last week. The directive follows a series of sabotage attacks attributed to Israel, which targeted Hezbollah's communication infrastructure. The IRGC has initiated a large-scale operation to inspect all electronic devices among its 190,000 members to prevent further breaches, Reuters reported.
