Russia Warns South Korea, Considers Deploying Oreshnik Missiles in Asia
Nov 25, 2024, 11:56 AM
Russia has issued a stern warning to South Korea against supplying weapons to Ukraine, stating it will respond in every way possible. In a related development, Russia is considering the deployment of medium- and short-range missiles, including Oreshnik missile systems, in Asia if the United States decides to deploy missiles in the region. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov emphasized that there are no restrictions on Russia deploying new medium-range systems, and the fate of Russia's moratorium on such deployments depends entirely on the US approach, according to RIA news agency.
