North Korea Sends Heavy Arms, 7,000 Containers to Russia Amid Ukraine Conflict
Nov 20, 2024, 07:09 AM
North Korea has escalated its military support to Russia by sending additional shipments of artillery, rocket launchers, and heavy arms, as well as deploying troops to aid in its conflict with Ukraine. This move comes as North Korean troops are reportedly entering combat, according to South Korean lawmakers. The South Korean spy agency confirmed that Pyongyang had exported weapons to Russia, with about 7,000 containers of suspected weapons sent over the past two months. In exchange, Moscow is providing North Korea with Russian military technologies, which could have significant security implications for East Asia, as warned by Ukrainian Ambassador Sergiy Korsunsky.
