Mother Reveals Hostage Yagev Buchstab Executed by Hamas in February

Esther Buchstab, the mother of Yagev Buchstab, revealed to a Knesset committee that her son was executed by Hamas while being held captive. Yagev Buchstab's body was recovered from Gaza in August. The autopsy report, received on Sunday, confirmed that he was executed in February as the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) neared his location. This incident mirrors the fate of six other hostages who were also executed by Hamas last week as the IDF approached. Esther Buchstab expressed her grief, stating, 'My son was kidnapped alive, he should have returned alive, he came back dead, murdered.'
