Iran and Russia are set to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership treaty in mid-January 2025, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry. This treaty will encompass provisions on investment, trade, technology exchange, and extensive military cooperation. A Russian delegation, led by Deputy Prime Ministers Alexei Overchuk and Vitaly Savelyev, arrived in Tehran to meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and discuss the upcoming agreement.
