Russia Accuses Ukraine of Collaborating with Terrorists in Syria, Cites Turkish Media

Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, has accused Ukraine of maintaining contacts with terrorist groups, including the banned group 'Hayat Tahrir al-Sham' in Syria. According to Zakharova, Ukraine has a history of involvement with militants who conduct terrorist attacks against Russians. Turkish newspaper Aydınlık reported that Kyiv held talks with terrorists to involve them in operations against Russia. Zakharova has called on international organizations to not ignore these alleged crimes by Kyiv and to provide a proper assessment. The accusations were made during a briefing.
