Angélique Angarni-Filopon, 34, Crowned Miss France 2025; Sabah Aïb Named First Runner-Up
Dec 15, 2024, 12:04 AM
Angélique Angarni-Filopon, representing Martinique, has been crowned Miss France 2025, marking a historic win for the island. At 34 years old, she is the oldest contestant to win the title, and this year marks the first time the competition has no age limit for participants. Angarni-Filopon triumphed over several competitors, including Sabah Aïb from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, who was named first runner-up. The event was broadcast live on TF1, and Angarni-Filopon succeeds Ève Gilles as the new titleholder. In her acceptance speech, she expressed a desire to support women affected by breast cancer, inspired by her mother’s survival of the disease through early detection. This victory is particularly significant as it is the first time a contestant from Martinique has won the Miss France title.
