The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet have recovered the bodies of five Israeli hostages from Gaza during a military operation in Khan Yunis. The hostages, who were killed on October 7, include Maya Goren, Ravid Katz, Oren Goldin, Tomer Ahimas, and Kiril Brodtsky. The operation was carried out based on new intelligence, including information from interrogations of detained terrorists. The bodies were found in a tunnel, and the IDF has confirmed their identification. This recovery follows the earlier confirmation of the death of hostage Yagev Buchshtab in Gaza. The bodies have been returned to Israel for proper burial.
