Israeli Airstrike in Tyre's Al-Bass Camp Kills Hamas Leader Fathi al-Sharif and Family

Israel has conducted an airstrike in southern Lebanon that killed Fateh Sharif Abu al-Amin, also known as Fathi al-Sharif, the leader of Hamas in Lebanon, along with his wife and two sons, according to statements from Hamas. The strike targeted his home in the Al-Bass refugee camp in the city of Tyre. In addition to his role in Hamas, Abu al-Amin was the principal of a United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) school and served as the President of the UNRWA Teachers Union in Lebanon.
