Alstom and Transport for London (TfL) have reached a final agreement for an order of 10 new Elizabeth Line trains. The deal, backed by £220 million of Government funding, will keep Alstom’s Litchurch Lane factory in Derby operational and secure more than 1,300 jobs. The total value of the contract is £370 million.
