T.I. and Tiny Win $71M Verdict Against MGA Entertainment in Third Trial
Sep 24, 2024, 05:57 AM
Rapper T.I. and his wife, singer-songwriter Tameka 'Tiny' Harris, have won a $71 million jury verdict in their lawsuit against MGA Entertainment. The California federal jury found that MGA Entertainment's line of O.M.G. dolls infringed on the trade dress and misappropriated the name, likeness, and identity of the OMG Girlz pop group, which T.I. and Tiny co-own. The verdict includes $17,872,359 in real damages and $53,616,759 in punitive damages. This marks the third trial in a case that has been ongoing since 2020.
