Nearly 138,000 Lucid Beds Sold at Amazon and Walmart Recalled in U.S. and Canada
Sep 19, 2024, 09:00 PM
Nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds sold at major retailers, including Amazon and Walmart, are being recalled in the U.S. and Canada due to safety concerns. The recall follows reports of the beds breaking, sagging, or collapsing during use, leading to serious fall and injury risks. To date, there have been 245 incidents reported, resulting in 18 injuries such as contusions and bruises, according to the CPSC. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled beds immediately and contact Lucid for a free replacement frame. The beds, which feature an Upholstered Square Tufted Headboard, were manufactured by CVB Inc, a Utah-based company.
