Nearly 138,000 Lucid Beds Recalled from Amazon, Walmart After 18 Injuries
Sep 19, 2024, 08:41 PM
Nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds sold at major retailers including Amazon and Walmart are being recalled across the U.S. and Canada due to safety risks. The recall follows reports of the beds breaking, sagging, or collapsing during use, posing serious fall and injury risks. There have been at least 245 reports of such incidents, resulting in 18 injuries. Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled beds immediately and contact Lucid for a free replacement frame. The beds, which include an Upholstered Square Tufted Headboard, are manufactured by CVB Inc, a Utah-based company.
