X Requires All Content Creators to Verify ID for Payouts by July 1, 2024
May 30, 2024, 11:36 PM
X, formerly known as Twitter, has announced that all content creators must complete ID verification to receive payouts under the X Ads Revenue Sharing Program. New creators must verify their ID starting immediately, while existing creators have until July 1, 2024, to comply. The verification process requires creators to upload a government-issued photo ID and a picture to a company partnered with X. Failure to complete this verification will result in creators not receiving payouts. X has started sending emails and notifications to inform creators of this new requirement. If creators previously completed ID verification using the optional Premium Hub flow, they will need to resubmit their information.
