Apple Watch Series 10, Series 9, and Ultra 2 Introduce Sleep Apnea Detection
Sep 9, 2024, 05:17 PM
Apple has announced that the new Apple Watch Series 10 will feature the ability to detect sleep apnea. This new functionality will also be available on the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 models. The sleep apnea detection works by using the watch's accelerometer to monitor for breathing disturbances. The Series 10 also includes other enhancements such as a bigger display, a new S10 chip, a titanium body, and a Translate app. The feature is expected to help millions of people who are currently undiagnosed with this serious medical condition. The new Apple Watch Series 10 will be available later this fall.
