Brazilian and Haitian Migrants Arrested in Massachusetts for Child Sexual Abuse, Including 10-Year-Old Boy
Sep 4, 2024, 02:31 PM
Authorities in Massachusetts have arrested a Brazilian illegal immigrant and a Haitian migrant on charges of child sexual abuse. The Brazilian individual was indicted on five counts of child rape in Martha's Vineyard and transferred to ICE custody by the Dukes County Sheriff's Office. The Haitian migrant, 18-year-old Akim Marc Desire, who entered the U.S. through the Biden administration's CHNV parole program on June 4, 2023, was charged with molesting a 10-year-old boy. This incident marks the second time in recent months that a Haitian immigrant from the CHNV program has been charged with a sex crime against a child in Massachusetts.
