Aug 26, 2024, 10:23 PM
A Russian missile strike targeted the Aurora Hotel in Kryvyi Rih, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. The attack, which reportedly involved a 9K720 Iskander-M Tactical Ballistic Missile, resulted in the death of at least two people, with up to five individuals potentially trapped under the rubble. The hotel was reportedly filled with civilians at the time of the strike. Rescue operations are underway as first responders work to assess the extent of the damage and the number of casualties. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the attack, noting that one person was killed and four others were injured. This incident follows a pattern of Russian forces targeting hotels in Ukraine, with a previous attack occurring in Kramatorsk.
