The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed that the rocket strike in Majdal Shams, which resulted in the death of 12 children, was carried out using an Iranian-made Falaq-1 rocket. IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari identified the rocket and stated that it was fired by Hezbollah. The warhead of the Falaq-1 rocket carries over 50 kilos of explosives.
