VisitIDF Confirms Iranian-Made Falaq-1 Rocket Fired by Hezbollah Killed 12 Children in Majdal Shams

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed that the rocket strike in Majdal Shams, which resulted in the death of 12 children, was carried out using an Iranian-made Falaq-1 rocket. IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari identified the rocket and stated that it was fired by Hezbollah. The warhead of the Falaq-1 rocket carries over 50 kilos of explosives. Forensic evidence and shrapnel analysis at the site matched the characteristics of the Falaq-1 rocket. The IDF also released the flight path of the rocket, which was launched from the Chebaa area in Lebanon and targeted the Druze town of Majdal Shams. Additionally, the IDF showed pictures of the rocket that fell in Majdal Shams.
