A civil jury in Ireland has found mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor liable for raping a woman in a Dublin hotel penthouse after a night of heavy partying in December 2018. The woman, identified as Nikita Hand, was awarded €248,603 (approximately $257,000) in damages following the High Court jury's verdict. The decision came after two weeks of hearings. McGregor's friend, James Lawrence, was found not liable in the case.
