Vietnam's parliament has approved a significant $67 billion high-speed railway project aimed at connecting its northern and southern provinces. The ambitious infrastructure initiative is expected to facilitate a rapid transit system that will reduce travel time between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to approximately five hours by 2035.
