The Russian city of Belgorod has experienced a series of explosions and fires this morning due to heavy shelling, reportedly from Ukrainian drone attacks and the activation of Russian air defenses. Local authorities have confirmed that the shelling has resulted in multiple injuries and significant property damage. On the Shebekino-Belgorod highway, a car caught fire, injuring four people. Additionally, a massive fire has reached private homes, and footage shows burning cars and black smoke enveloping the city. The Governor of the Belgorod Region reported that residential buildings have been hit, with eight people injured, one critically and others with moderate injuries.
