Syrian state media reported that television presenter Safaa Ahmed was killed in Israeli airstrikes on Damascus early Tuesday. The General Authority for Radio and Television announced her death following attacks that targeted areas near the capital, including the Mazzeh Villas neighborhood and near the Iranian embassy. The official SANA news agency reported that Syrian air defenses engaged multiple waves of Israeli strikes. Ahmed was reportedly killed shortly after completing a live broadcast on the Israeli bombings in Syria and Lebanon.
