VisitSpaceX Eyes $350 Billion Valuation in Tender Offer, Becoming World's Most Valuable Startup
Dec 3, 2024, 01:56 AM
SpaceX, the rocket and satellite company founded by Elon Musk, is reportedly in discussions to conduct a tender offer that would value the company at approximately $350 billion. This valuation is $100 billion more than the $255 billion considered last month, representing a significant increase. The new valuation would make SpaceX the most valuable private startup in the world, surpassing ByteDance, and its value would exceed the combined market capitalization of aerospace giants Boeing and Airbus. The potential sale of insider shares at around $190 each reflects the company's rapid growth, driven by record Falcon launches, advancements in its Starship program, and the expansion of its Starlink satellite internet service, which is nearing 5 million users. This new valuation is also a substantial rise from the $210 billion valuation during a tender offer earlier this year.
