Putin at CSTO Summit: Russia's Missile Output Ten Times NATO's, Production to Rise 25-30% Next Year
Nov 28, 2024, 10:34 AM
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia's production of advanced missile systems surpasses that of all NATO countries combined by tenfold, and that missile production will increase by an additional 25-30% next year. Speaking at the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit in Astana, Putin highlighted that the new "Oreshnik" missile system, now in mass production, has no equivalent worldwide and cannot be countered. He emphasized that similar systems will not appear globally in the near future and that Russia was compelled to deploy the "Oreshnik" in response to enemy actions. Putin also noted that Russia's hypersonic missile systems have no analogues and their production is increasing.
