South Korean police have raided the offices of Jeju Air, the operator of Muan International Airport, and the transportation ministry aviation authority as part of the investigation into Sunday's crash of a Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 that killed 179 people at Muan International Airport. The crash is the worst aviation disaster on South Korean soil. Investigators are focusing on potential issues with the aircraft's landing gear and the runway barrier. The flight recorder has been sent to the United States for analysis. Police have also banned Jeju Air CEO Kim Eebae from leaving the country.
