German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has emphasized Germany's unwavering support for Ukraine during a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. Scholz stated, 'We will not let up in our support for Ukraine. We stand by the side of the Ukrainian people for as long as necessary.' Speaking from Kyiv, he also warned against Russia's ultimatums and threats, particularly regarding the supply of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine for strikes deep into Russian territory, calling it a risk to Germany's security. Scholz reiterated that Russia cannot dictate peace terms to Ukraine.
