An explosion at a munitions factory owned by ZSR in the Kavaklı Mahallesi area of Balıkesir's Karesi district in Türkiye has killed at least 12 people and injured three others, according to local authorities. The blast occurred on December 24 in the section where detonators are produced, causing part of the building to collapse. Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu confirmed the casualties and stated that there is no suspicion of sabotage. Rescue operations are ongoing as officials investigate the cause of the explosion.
