Dr. Ronny Jackson Provides Update on Trump's Recovery from Gunshot Wound to Right Ear
Jul 20, 2024, 07:31 PM
Dr. Ronny Jackson, former White House physician and current Texas Representative, has provided an update on former President Donald Trump's health following an assassination attempt. Trump sustained a gunshot wound to his right ear during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The bullet created a 2 cm-wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear, though no sutures were required. Dr. Jackson has been personally treating Trump and reports that he is recuperating well. A head CT scan cleared Trump of any skull or brain injury. Jackson noted that Trump experienced significant initial bleeding and swelling but is doing well physically. He may need further evaluations such as a hearing test.
