An inmate has been sentenced to more than four years in prison for his role in the 2018 fatal bludgeoning of notorious Boston gangster James 'Whitey' Bulger. The sentencing follows a deal with prosecutors in which the inmate changed his plea from not guilty. The incident occurred at a federal prison in West Virginia. One of the two Massachusetts men accused of the crime appeared in US District Court today for the change of plea and sentencing hearing.
