The facility, operated by TSMC's subsidiary Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing (JASM), is focused on producing logic chips using 12 to 28 nanometer process technologies. These chips are intended for use in automobiles and image sensors, serving customers such as Sony Group Corp. and Denso Corp.
