The Swiss National Bank (SNB) and SIX Interbank Clearing Ltd. have launched an instant payment scheme in Switzerland, allowing fund transfers to be completed in seconds. This initiative, announced on August 20, 2024, aims to establish instant payments as a standard in the Swiss market in the medium term.
