President Bola Tinubu has approved a new national minimum wage of N70,000 ($43) for Nigerian workers amidst a severe cost of living crisis. The decision has been accepted by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC), and the Organised Labour. Tinubu also promised to review the national minimum wage law every three years. This announcement was made at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
