The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense systems intercepted four U.S.-made MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS), known as ATACMS, over the Crimean Peninsula. These missiles, supplied to Ukraine by the United States and shipped recently, were allegedly shot down overnight. Despite these claims, there were no reported explosions or air defense activity observed in Crimea during the time of the incident.
