The European Union has disbursed the first tranche of €3 billion to Ukraine as part of a €45 billion G7 loan package. This initial payment is funded by the earnings from frozen Russian assets. The total loan amount is set at $50 billion, with the EU's contribution amounting to €18.1 billion.
