Two men, Walid Saadaoui, 36, and Amar Hussein, 50, have appeared in a UK court charged with plotting an Islamic State-inspired gun attack targeting the Jewish community in North West England, specifically Greater Manchester. The charges include the preparation of terrorist acts between December 2023 and May 2024. A third man, Bilel Saadaoui, 35, is charged with failing to disclose information about the plot.
