37-Year-Old Man Arrested for Attempted Murder After Nurse Suffers Life-Changing Injuries in Hospital Stabbing

A nurse in her 50s was left with life-changing injuries after being stabbed at Royal Oldham Hospital's Accident and Emergency department in Greater Manchester. The attack occurred around 11:30pm on Saturday night, and the assailant used a sharp instrument that was not a knife. A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
