A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck off the coast of La Paz, El Salvador on Sunday, with the epicenter located 29 kilometers southwest of Playa Costa del Sol at a depth of 33 kilometers. The earthquake was felt across the region, with no immediate reports of damage or casualties. The Salvadoran Ministry of Environment confirmed that there is no risk of a tsunami following the event. President Nayib Bukele reported the earthquake's magnitude as 6.3, with the epicenter 70 kilometers south of San Salvador. A landslide was reported at the San Vicente volcano following the earthquake, but authorities have not reported any material damage or injuries as a result of the seismic event.
