VisitUS Officials Fear Russian Drones and Missiles Threatening Ukrainian Nuclear Safety in Khmelnytskyi

Russian drones and missiles have been observed flying near Ukrainian nuclear power plants, including in the Khmelnytskyi region, raising significant safety concerns. Over 70 drones and more than 30 Russian cruise missiles have been recorded in recent weeks, with more than 100 Russian drones and missiles flying near these plants recently, according to Energoatom, the Ukrainian state-owned nuclear company. This activity has created an unprecedented safety threat to Ukraine and Europe. Senior US officials, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, have expressed fears of potential Russian strikes on Ukrainian nuclear plants.
