On January 19, 2025, at midnight, TikTok officially shut down its services in the United States following a nationwide ban. The popular social media app is no longer accessible to U.S. users. CapCut, another app owned by TikTok's parent company ByteDance, has also suspended U.S. services as the company refused to sell.
