VisitTexas Offers Trump Over 1,400 Acres in Starr County for January Mass Deportation Operation
Nov 20, 2024, 01:12 AM
Texas has offered President-elect Donald Trump over 1,400 acres of land in Starr County to support a large-scale deportation operation. The land, located near the U.S.-Mexico border, is intended to serve as a hub for the mass deportation efforts planned by the incoming administration starting in January. Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham confirmed the offer, stating that the recently purchased ranch could be used for processing, detention, and coordination of deportations. The land is to be leased for this purpose. This initiative aligns with the administration's goal of executing the largest deportation of illegal immigrants in U.S. history, with Tom Homan leading the operation.
